ITEMS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE COLORFUL QUILTS
Remnants of fabric - prefer cotton or cotton blends
SHEETS - any size any color any design any condition as long as they are clean new sheets
PILLOWCASES - any size, any color
EMBROIDERY THREAD - FULL skiens any color
And of course, we always need PEOPLE to come out and help us assemble the quilts. Knowing how to sew is NOT required.

SEWING KIT ITEMS
3 yards cotton or cotton blend fabric
1 package of needles for hand sewing
1 spool of matching thread
1 card of buttons
Wrap sewing notions inside fabric and tic with ribbon, yarn, string or a strip of fabric.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING
LWR QUILT TOPS
SIZE - approximately 60 inches by 80 inches
FABRIC TO USE: Cotton
Cotton blends
Cotton/Polyester
Knits (not light weight)
Corduroy
Silks and satins are not acceptable!
NUMBER OF SQUARES TO MAKE A TOP
48 - Eleven inch squares
12 - Twenty-one inch squares
Machine sew the squares together in a colorful pattern or make what we call a "crazy design" pattern and sew together scrapes of fabric in any fashion your imagination takes you! Neat and simple are the best guidelines. All quilts are considered a work of art!
Please do not decorate quilts with religious symbols as quilts are shipped to people based on need, regardless of religious creed.
