Hug-A Bears are hand-stuffed and stitched. They are delivered to local hospitals to cheer patients, from small children to the elderly. You are invited to join in one of the Hug-A-Bear workshops held each month.
You can find the Hug-a-bears workshops listed on the church events calendar and they meet in the resource room upstairs.
The Hug-a-Bears provide comfort to patients in The Woodlands Memorial Hospital and The Community Clinic. With the growth of The Woodlands, there is more need for the Bears. Come join the meeting to help cut, sew, or stuff Hug-a-Bears. Email us for more information.
Did you know??? The Hug-A-Bear Workshop Group made 2,305 bears for patients at The Woodlands Hospital and The Community Clinic! What a gift of comfort. Special thanks to Ellen Rinker who made over 1,000 of those!!
Please Note:
The Hug-a-Bear Program is always in need of fabric. If you have colorful cotton fabric you would like to donate, please drop it off at the church kitchen on Sunday mornings. Be sure to mark that it is for Hug-a-Bears.
