Sunday Morning Classes - Jan 2008
The Bible, Christianity and You - A Study of Matthew-(Offered at 9:45)
If you are looking for a small group that studies books of the Bible, as well as other Christian books, we have a seat for you. This adult Sunday School class meets in the Resource Room from 9:45 - 10:45 am. Coffee, donuts, and fellowship are offered. The teachers for the class are Al Reese (281-681-1037) and Lois Payton (281-292-4402), who lead and follow a lively discussion bunch. The Bible will be our text along with a video. Pick up your bible (we have extras in the class) and come along with us as we continue our journey.
No Experience Necessary - (Offered at 9:45 and 11:00)
The title of this class really does describe it! If you are looking for an opportunity to study the Bible in a relaxed atmosphere with no homework and no requirement of previous experience, this class is for you. Participants have the chance to talk through issues of life and faith with other members of Lord of Life. It is a wonderful way to get to know other members and support one another as we seek to live out our faith.

About Lenten Studies for 2008
We are putting together a church-wide study based on the book "Frogs without Legs Cant Hear" put out by Augsburg and The Youth and Family Institute. It focuses on nurturing faith in the home and congregation and will be an excellent focus for us during Lent. Tande Moreau and Carol Bauer were able to meet one of the authors at the Discipleship Project this past summer and were so impressed by the material that they brought it back to share with our congregation.
We are hoping that every member will find a way to be involved in a group, whether on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, or another evening during the week. We hope you all will join in on this exciting endeavor!
