Progressive Dinner - Feb 10, 2007


Mark your calendars for this year’s Progressive Dinner on Saturday, February 10, beginning at 6:00 pm at Lord of Life. Bring your valentine or come by yourself to treated to a wonderful evening and dinner with other Lord of Life adults. We begin the evening in the Fellowship Hall with appetizers and drinks. Next, you will enjoy salad or soup at the home of one of our hosts, followed by delicious main course hosted at a different home. Finally, everyone meets back at the church for dessert! Progressive Dinner Basics WHO? WHAT? WHEN? WHERE? WHY? HOW? WHO? YOU and other Lord of Life adults. WHAT? The Progressive Dinner is an informal evening of good food, fun, and fellowship which begins with everyone meeting for appetizers, wine, and beer at the Appetizer Home. From there you, or you and your spouse (or quest), will join 6 - 10 additional people at a Salad Home. Then you will join 6 - 10 other people at a Main Course Home for dinner. Everyone will meet up again for dessert and coffee at the church. WHEN? Saturday, February 10th , at 6:00 p.m. WHERE? Your progression map for the salad and main courses of the evening will be distributed at the church. At 9:30 we will all gather togther again at the church for dessert and coffee. WHY? FOOD! FUN! FELLOWSHIP! This is a wonderful "smaller group" opportunity to make new friends and catch up with the old. The Progressive Dinner was a Lord of Life tradition for many years. HOW?
