The Annual Octoberfest is THE PREMIER adult event of the year.

The bratwurst, knockwurst, German potato salad and sauerkraut, etc., along with "light" and "dark" beverages and, of course, those famous fantastic homemade desserts are enjoyed by all.


"Oom-pah" music is in the air for everyone's dancing
enjoyment,
including the tradional
"chicken dance".

Join us at the time-honored Lord of Life tradition of celebrating Oktoberfest.
This adult fellowship event will be held under the big tent in the parking lot featuring:

• Traditional German fare -- bratwurst hot off the grill, homemade sauerkraut and homemade hot potato salad plus delicious desserts.
• Dancing to Mr. Ed's polka band -- polkas, waltzes and, of course, the time-honored Chicken Dance!
• Test your talents by entering the yodeling contest, stein contest and more!
• A great opportunity to get to know or get re-acquainted with your fellow Lord of Life members and also a great time to invite a friend or neighbor to join us. Care to help? Great! Here's how…
• Make your reservation early and pay ahead of time to help us with planning.
• Share your culinary expertise -- sign up in the Fellowship Hall to bring a dessert or potato salad.
• Join the set-up/decorating crew, the serving team or kitchen crew -- we need you and it's fun

Enter to win our Oktoberfest Gift Basket - Oktoberfest reservations are $15 ahead of time (strongly encouraged) and $20 at the door. This is an adult-only event for those who are at least 21 years old. As with planning any dinner party, it's critical to know how many we will be serving.
Be sure to make your reservation early by signing up at the Oktoberfest booth in the Fellowship Hall. All who sign up and pay ahead of time can are eligible to enter our drawing to win a Oktoberfest gift basket that features some wonderful treats!
